Today, we’re excited to share the inspiration behind one of our bespoke pieces: The Bud.
This design features a stunning diamond and an 18k golden South Sea pearl, beautifully reflecting the shape of a heartbeat while also resembling a flower bud—a powerful symbol of life and new beginnings.
The name itself evokes the image of a budding flower, representing growth, hope, and potential. In this piece, the 18k golden South Sea pearl serves as the centrepiece, mirroring the transition from a compact bud to something exquisite and unique.
Our prongs are not your standard design; each one is handmade and shaped like delicate petals. This thoughtful craftsmanship enhances the beauty of the pearl while ensuring maximum comfort for the wearer. The ring's shape, inspired by the organic form of a flower stem, gracefully embraces your finger and transforms into a bud. From different angles, you can appreciate its resemblance to a heartbeat, capturing the rhythm of life.
To add a touch of nature, we’ve created a frosted effect that mimics the texture of a flower stem, ensuring a perfectly smooth finish. At the opposite end of the ring, a brilliant white diamond symbolises the seed of the plant, representing the beauty that emerges after years of formation beneath the earth.
